The East Central Community College Gospel Choir will present a Virtual Black History Month Celebration at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 23.
The event can be seen live on the group’s Facebook page by searching ECCC Gospel Choir.
ECCC alumnus Dr. Michael Jones will be the guest speaker. Jones, a native of Leake County, is the Richards Endowed Graduate Nursing Chair, Assistant Professor of Nursing, and Research Development Coordinator for the Mary Inez Grindle School of Nursing at Brenau University in Gainesville, Ga. He also serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the School of Public Health at Jackson State University.
