East Central Community College will host its annual Student Art Exhibition April 3-20 in the Vickers Fine Arts Center on the Decatur campus. An opening reception will be held from 1:30 to 3 p.m. on Thursday, April 6.
The exhibit will feature drawings, paintings, sculptures, and designs produced by EC students during the 2022-23 school year. The show will be juried, and the winners will be posted in Vickers Lobby with ribbons attached to the works.
Students whose work is featured include Anastasia Nichele Caston and Amy Roxanna Salvador, both of Carthage; Anna Grace Elmore of Enterprise; Rocendo Luna Jr. and Gloria Nicolas Agustin, both of Morton; Hunter Orduno and Jaidda Pettis, both of Philadelphia; Billy Randall Thompson of Pelahatchie, Bryant Diaz of Forest, Katie McElhenney and Hayley Morgan Loper, both of Decatur; Aimee Herd of Florence, Laney Renee Moak of Sebastopol, Kyah Mason of Sallis, and Jia Sanders of Newton.
