The East Central Community College basketball programs are hosting the MLK Tournament Jan. 13 and Jan. 15 to commemorate the Martin Luther King Holiday.
The MLK Tournament for boys will be played Saturday, Jan. 13, in Brackeen-Wood Gym on the Decatur campus.
The schedule includes Stringer vs. Noxapater at 10 a.m., Leake County vs. Bruce at 11:30 a.m., Southeast Lauderdale vs. Clinton at 1 p.m., Piney Woods vs. Heidelberg at 2:30 p.m., Newton County vs. Leake Central at 4 p.m., Meridian vs. Harrison Central at 5:30 p.m., and Choctaw Central vs. Newton at 7 p.m.
The girls’ MLK Tournament games will be played Monday, Jan. 15, also in Brackeen-Wood Gym.
The schedule includes Forest vs. Durant at 2:30 p.m., Clinton vs. Hillcrest Christian (Tuscaloosa, Ala.) at 4 p.m., Newton County vs. Petal at 5:30 p.m., and Starkville vs. Brandon at 7 p.m.
Admission each day is $7 per person.
