Graduates of East Central Community College’s Practical Nursing Program received special recognition at the annual pinning ceremony held recently on the Decatur campus. Students who completed the 12-month program and their respective hometowns include (first row, from left) Amanda Harvey of Morton, Thu Le of Union, Rachel Rogers of Philadelphia, and Heather Kelly of Collinsville; and (back row, from left) Elizabeth Brackett of Carthage, Akalah Hodge, Jaiashunda Graham, and Joya Young, all of Meridian; Myeisha Jones of Philadelphia, and Monica Jones of Ackerman. Young was also named Practical Nursing Student of the Year. Not pictured is Shannon Withers of Carthage.
