East Central Community College in Decatur has been named a 2021 “Best for Vets” college by Military Times.
ECCC is one of only three community colleges in Mississippi to be included in the annual rankings, and one of only six two-year or four-year institutions in the state to be honored for support to veterans.
Military Times has released its Best for Vets for the past 10 years. Surveys sent to colleges and universities across the United States and public data obtained from the Department of Education and Department of Veterans Affairs are used to determine the rankings.
The complete listing of colleges and universities can be found online at colleges.militarytimes.com, which includes individual webpages for each school to help veterans make decisions about career planning and how to use the education benefits they earn through military service.
Military Times Best for Vets is the largest and most comprehensive ranking of schools for military service members and veterans.
