After Holmes closed the gap to 5-2, the Lady Warriors struck for three more runs in the third as freshman designated hitter EmilySue Parkman (Lake) brought in a run with a sacrifice fly and freshman center fielder Parker Breland (Union) got an RBI on a triple. Another runner crossed the plate on an error.

East Central built its lead to the final 10-2 when a sacrifice fly in the fifth by freshman third baseman Hannah Dufault (Hurley, East Central) brought in runners from third and second base.

McNeer and freshman right fielder MaKenzie Barnett (Neshoba Central) each had two hits in game two.

Freshman Braelyn Boykin was again strong in the circle for the Lady Warriors. The product of Mize allowed only three hits and one earned run in getting the win.
