Students in East Central Community College’s Culinary Arts program recently achieved a 100% pass rate on the ServSafe Manager Certification Exam.
The ServSafe Manager Certification is a nationally recognized credential that verifies an individual’s knowledge of food safety standards and industry regulations. The certification covers key areas, including time and temperature control, prevention of cross-contamination, proper sanitation procedures, and overall risk management, all critical components of maintaining safe food service operations.
This achievement reflects the hard work and preparation of the students, as well as the strength of ECCC’s Culinary Arts curriculum.
“This accomplishment speaks to the dedication our students bring to the classroom and the kitchen each day,” said Chef Enoc Reynoso, ECCC's Culinary Arts Technology Instructor. “Food safety is foundational to the industry, and we are proud of the way our students have embraced that responsibility.”
The 100% pass rate highlights ECCC’s continued commitment to providing hands-on training and industry-recognized credentials that prepare students for success in the workforce.
