The East Central Community College men’s soccer team dropped a 4-2 decision to Andrew College in a match played Sunday, Sept. 17.

The contest against the Tigers from Cuthbert, Ga., was played on the campus of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in Perkinston.

East Central’s overall record falls to 3-3-1. Andrew improves to 2-3-1.

Freshman forward Hunter Holdiness out of Warren Central in Vicksburg scored for the Warriors, assisted by sophomore midfielder Jacob Thomas from Northwest Rankin, and Francisco Romero, a freshman midfielder from Ripley, also added a second half goal, assisted by Justin Williams, a freshman wing from Newton County.

ECCC is on the road for two MACJC non-division matches this week. The Warriors will face Southwest in Summit at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 20, and then travel to Ellisville Friday, Sept. 22, to face Jones County at 6 p.m.
