East Central Community College head women’s soccer coach Ryan Joiner hosted a one day player ID camp on Sunday, Feb. 17, on the ECCC campus in Decatur. More than 50 players from around the state participated in two training sessions and played in two games on the turf at Bailey Stadium.

“The event was a great success, as we were able to see players from the graduating years of 2019-2023 today,” said Joiner. “We were blessed with the opportunity to work with such talented players and were impressed with the level of the potential student-athletes.”

Coaches helping with the ID camp included Ryan Weir of William Carey University in Hattiesburg, Nathan Gillespie of Delta State University in Cleveland, Adam Johnson of Mississippi College in Clinton, Pritchard Ndaira of Faulkner University in Montgomery, Ala., Carla Tejas of Belhaven University in Jackson, and Sarah Daniels of Mississippi University for Women in Columbus.

Joiner also has upcoming summer camps scheduled, including a Girls High School Residential Camp June 2-4, a Boys High School Residential Camp June 6-8, and a Youth Summer Camp June 17-20.
