The East Central Community College Lady Warriors won their final home soccer match of the 2018 season with a 3-0 shutout of visiting Dyersburg State Thursday, Oct. 11, at the Soccer Field in Decatur.

The East Central Lady Warriors improved to 5-10 overall with the victory. The visitors from Dyersburg, Tenn., fell to 0-10 in the program’s first season.

Scoring goals for the Lady Warriors were sophomore defender Georgie Wilson of Adelaide, Australia, assisted by freshman forward Katelyn Morson out of Warren Central in Vicksburg; freshman forward Macey Spencer of Florence, assisted by freshman defender Macayla Johnson out of West Jones in Laurel; and freshman forward Leah Anderson of Leyland, England, assisted by Spencer.

The East Central women’s and men’s teams close out the regular season on Monday, Oct. 15, at Hinds. The matches in Raymond are set for 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.
