ECCC Workforce Development Center Offers NCCER Core Curriculum Class

The East Central Community College Workforce Development Center will offer an NCCER (National Center for Construction Education and Research) Core Curriculum Class from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Brackford J. Tucker Applied Technology Building beginning Oct. 5, 2017, for 28 consecutive Thursdays.  Cost is $200 per student and includes a book and OSHA card.

The course will cover areas such as basic safety, shop math and electrical safety. The Core Class must be taken as a pre-requisite for all NCCER areas of study which includes HVAC and Industrial Mainteanance Apprenticeships. In addition, an OSHA 10-hour training will be provided in this class. Harold Hollingsworth will serve as instructor.
