The East Central Community College Workforce Development Center will offer several classes at the Philadelphia/Neshoba County Career-Technical Center beginning in September. The center is located at 900 Valley View Drive in Philadelphia.

Sewing and Embroidery will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Mondays beginning Sept. 10 for eight consecutive weeks. The cost is $150 per person and Jill Powe will serve as instructor.

Technology for Teachers: Google Classroom will be held from 4 to 6:30 p.m. on Mondays beginning Sept. 10 for eight consecutive weeks. Cost is $60 per person and Lacie Flake will serve as instructor. Participants will learn how to utilize Google Classroom, a free web service developed by Google for schools to streamline the process of sharing files between teachers and students.

A welding course will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. for eight consecutive Mondays beginning Sept. 10. The cost is $150 per person and Joey Irby will serve as instructor.
