The East Central Community College Workforce Development Center will offer numerous classes this month at various locations throughout Neshoba County.
Courses offered at the Integrated Technologies Training Center in Choctaw include:
• AC/DC Electrical Controls–Begins Monday, January 9, and will meet from 6 to 9 p.m. for 11 consecutive Mondays. Cost is $150 per person. Robert Kilpatrick will serve as instructor.
• Industrial Maintenance Apprenticeship Core & Level 1– Begins Tuesday, January 10, and will meet from 6 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday nights for eight to 10 months, depending on the level of students. Cost is $625 per person. Robert Kilpatrick and Charles Fadale will serve as instructors.
• Microsoft 2016: Word, Excel, Powerpoint–Begins Monday, January 16, and will meet from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday nights for six consecutive weeks. Cost is $25 per person. Christy Ferguson will serve as instructor.
• OSHA 10–Begins Tuesday, January 17, and will meet from 5:30 to 9 p.m. for three consecutive days. Cost is $50 per person. Charles Fadale will serve as instructor.
Courses offered at the Philadelphia/Neshoba County Career-Technical Center include:
• Home Maintenance and Repair–Begins Monday, January 9, and will meet from 6 to 9 p.m. for eight consecutive Mondays. Cost is $150 per person. James Boykin will serve as instructor.
• Welding–Begins Monday, January 9, and will meet from 6 to 9 p.m. for eight consecutive Mondays. Cost is $150 per person. Joey Irby will serve as instructor.
• Basic Automotive Repair–Begins Tuesday, January 10, and will meet from 6 to 9 p.m. for eight consecutive Tuesdays. Cost is $150 per person. Kirt Doss will serve as instructor.
