The East Central Community College Lady Warrior soccer team had yet another sign to play at the four-year level. Seline Decoteau (Pascagoula) signed with the Mississippi University for Women to continue her playing career for the fall of 2022. Decoteau joins five other Lady Warriors moving on to the next level and will carry on her career with Loren Winters (Ocean Springs) and Olivia Clark (Decatur) at The W.
Decoteau, a sophomore, saw action in 29 games during her time at East Central including 11 starts. She scored her first collegiate goal in the first game of her career in an eventual 1-1 tie with Pearl River to open up the strange spring season in 2021. She finished her career with seven shots, six of which were on goal. Her primary role was defender and midfield where she was a key piece of the Lady Warrior strategy. The Lady Warriors picked up 13 shutout victories during her two-season tenure.
