Warrior Soccer Players Earn All-MACCC Honors

The East Central Community College soccer teams have finalized their playoff matchups for the NJCAA Gulf South District quarterfinals. The No. 6 seeded Lady Warriors will travel to Senatobia to take on the No. 3 Northwest Lady Rangers on Saturday, Oct. 29, at 11 a.m.

The East Central Community College soccer teams are on the road today as the teams travel to Itawamba in Fulton to face the Lady Indians and Indians. The matches both have major playoff implications.

Avery Anders had a stellar outing against Meridian last week as he poured in two goals in the Warriors' 3-2 victory over the Eagles.
Both of Anders' goals came on free kicks that he made from well outside of the box and propelled ECCC to the win.

East Central Community College soccer forward Evan Reape (Ballina, Ireland) had a career night in ECCC's 4-0 win over Northwest Sept. 20. Reape netted all four Warrior goals, with two of the scores coming in the first 10 minutes of the contest, to earn Warrior of the Week honors.

The Warriors of East Central Community College evened out their 2022 record to 1-1 on Friday, Sept. 16, but more importantly, got the first MACCC win of the season as the Warriors downed Holmes Community College 2-1. Holmes moved to 1-1, 0-1 with the loss.

East Central's men's soccer home match against Andrew College, originally slated for Saturday, Sept. 3 at 4 p.m., has been cancelled. At this time, there is no makeup date scheduled.
The Warriors will be back in action on Friday, Sept. 9 as the team travels to William Carey to take on the Crusaders at 4 p.m., before traveling to Holmes the following Friday, Sept. 16 with a 3 p.m. kickoff.
The East Central Community College men’s and women’s soccer matches against the Mississippi University for Women have new kickoff times and a new location due to all the rain in the area.

The East Central Community College Warrior soccer team fell to the Itawamba Indians, 7-0, on Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 23, in a rainy non-conference matchup. The loss drops the Warriors to 0-1 on the year, while the Indians improve to 1-0.
