Hollingsworth reached base in the top of the second for the Lady Warriors on a single, but that was the lone hit of the contest for ECCC.

Game Two | W, 10-2 (5-innings)

The Lady Bobcats capitalized on some free base runners in the third as a sac fly and a three-run homer grew the Jones lead to 5-0.

The Lady Warriors never wavered and hit right back in the fourth with a first-pitch, leadoff homer from Villar that cleared the centerfield fence. The shot cut the lead to four, 5-1, but Jones plated three more in the bottom of the fourth with another long ball.

McDonald drove in Mattie Hodge in the top of the fifth with a sharply hit double to left to pull the lead to 8-2, but a pair of runs in the home half of the inning ended the game, 10-2.

Rae Rae Evans got the start and the loss in the circle as she tossed four innings, gave up six hits, 10 runs – eight earned – walked five, and struck out four. Holly Craft got the win for Jones.
