2019-20 Percussion Auditions
We are excited for you to audition for the 2019-20 drum line and front ensemble at ECCC.
Auditions this year are by video submission only! Deadline for the submission is Feb. 28, 2019. Submit your video auditions to Ed Girling at egirling@eccc.edu.
Below, you will find tryout pieces for the various instruments. You may audition for any or all positions. Auditions earn you a spot on the line but do not guarantee the instrument of your choice.
Do not let the difficulty level of the tryout keep you from trying out. We take ALL ability levels. Your score will be determined by the attempt you make. No one will play the try out perfectly!
Audition requirements are as follows:
Mallets:
- Scales: F & D, Chromatic
- Prepared Piece
Percussion Rudiments:
- Rudiments: Flam Paradiddle, Single Ratamacue, Double Stroke Roll
- Prepared Piece
