The East Central Community College men's soccer team picked up two All-Conference honors this season as defender Noah Shockley earned North Division First-Team All-MACCC honors, while Jashil Vithal was tabbed as Second Team All-MACCC as a midfielder.

"These are two guys that definitely deserve to be recognized with honors such as these," said ECCC head coach Ethan Paschal. "They show up every day, do the right things, and continue to push on and lead others even when it's hard to do so. On top of that, they are two very respectful young men that I think that translated to their play on the field because they were huge for just this year."

Shockley played and started in 12 matches for the Warriors this year and posted one goal on two shots on goal during the year. Though his offensive help was great downfield, he really shined on the defensive backline where he was an active leader of the Warrior defense.

Vithal was very valuable for ECCC in the midfield as he played and started in 13 matches. The South African native, scored one goal on the year and posted a team-best two assists.

The Warriors finished the year 2-11-2 overall and 1-6-1 in North Division play.
