The Warriors of East Central Community College fell in the season opener to No. 6 Jones College, 7-0.
The Bobcats found the net early in the first half and put in two more before the break.
"We have some work to do," said ECCC head coach Ethan Paschal. "The rest of the week we are going to work on our defensive duties, and shift our focus over to Southwest on Friday."
The Warriors are back on the road at the end of the week as the team makes the trip to Summit to face the Southwest Community College Bears. The match is set for a 4 p.m. kickoff.
Jones had 22 shots in the contest to the Warriors two and ECCC's Chase Graham (Vicksburg) posted seven saves.
