East Central Community College baseball standouts Clayton Cook (Mize) and Gates Pee (Clinton) have been tabbed as JBB All-American Honorable Mention for their strong seasons with the Warriors. JBB is a nationally renowned community and junior college baseball media outlet that covers NJCAA DI, DII, and DIII baseball as well as the CCCAA and NWAC.

Cook, selected as an outfielder, seemed unable to miss at the plate as he led the Warriors with a .424 batting average. The freshman only had six games this season where he did not record a hit and posted 26 multi-hit games. From the leadoff position, he drove in 40 runs and scored 52 times with 16 singles and a team-high six homers.

Pee was selected as a relief pitcher. He threw 28.0 innings in 23 outings and posted a 3-0 record. He surrendered just 35 hits and walked eight batters while striking out 24.

The Warriors ended the season 30-17 overall and as the NJCAA Region XXIII runners up, the highest program finish since 2016.
