The No. 23 East Central Community College Warrior tennis team came back from spring break with a stellar 5-4 win over the No. 21 Hinds Eagles on Wednesday, March 23. The win was solidified at the No. 6 singles line as ECCC's Kaleb Parish defeated Hinds' Justin Humphrey's in a tiebreaker, 11-9, after splitting sets 6-3, 5-7. In all, one doubles match, and three singles matches went to tiebreakers in the tightly contested match. 

"It was a great win for the Warriors after losing to the Eagles earlier in the year," said ECCC head coach Jay Pacelli. "Great efforts from our top three guys and Kaleb showed incredible heart in the clincher at the end."

With the win, the Warriors move to 9-6 overall and to 7-5 in MACCC play.
