Welcome Back!

Year-Round Pell Grant

Do you want to take college classes at East Central Community College in Decatur this summer, but not sure you can afford it?

If so, you may be eligible for financial aid to cover your summer charges. That’s because the year-round Pell Grant is back!

The year-round status of the Federal Pell Grant was reinstated in 2017. Students who have already received a Pell Grant during both fall and spring semesters may now have additional Pell eligibility for the summer terms using the current 2018-19 FAFSA.

Generally a student must be enrolled in a minimum of six (6) hours in the summer for year-round Pell.

To determine your eligibility, contact the ECCC Financial Aid Office at 601-635-6326.
