ECCC to Host Wings and Warriors Basketball Introduction Evening Nov. 19

The 2019-20 East Central Community College men’s and women’s basketball teams will be introduced along with an evening of fun and entertainment at Wings and Warriors scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 19, at 5 p.m. in Brackeen-Wood Gymnasium on the campus in Decatur.

The East Central Warrior cheerleaders, Wall O’ Sound Pep Band, and Centralettes will all participate.

The Warrior basketball teams will be introduced along with other activities.

ECCC Women’s Basketball Offering Several Summer Camp Opportunities

The East Central Community College women’s basketball program is sponsoring four camps this summer in Brackeen-Wood Gym on the campus in Decatur.

The camps range from high school and junior varsity team camps to a youth day camp to a camp for rising high school seniors who desire to play college basketball.

ECCC to Host 5th Annual High School All-Star Basketball Games

East Central Community College will host its fifth annual East Central Mississippi High School All-Star Basketball Games Saturday, April 13, in the Brackeen-Wood Gymnasium on the Decatur campus.

The Underclass Women’s All-Star Game begins at 2:30 p.m., the Senior Women’s All-Star Game at 4 p.m., the Underclass Men’s All-Star Game at 5:00 p.m., and the Senior Men’s All-Star Game at 7:30 p.m.

Admission is $8 for the day.

ECCC Women’s Basketball to Hold Tryout April 11

The East Central Community College women’s basketball team will hold a tryout from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, April 11, in Brackeen-Wood Gym on the campus in Decatur.

The tryout is open to players who will graduate from high school in 2019, or have already graduated but have not already played two years of college sports. Anyone who is not a 2019 high school graduate will need to bring a copy of a recent physical in order to participate.

The cost is $20 per person, and players should bring their own basketball shoes.
