Graduates of East Central Community College’s Surgical Technology Program received special recognition at the annual pinning ceremony held recently on the Decatur campus. Students who completed the 12-month program and their respective hometowns include (first row, from left) Ella Grace Robertson of Philadelphia, Nancy Jimenez of Union, Patricia Martin of Meridian, Gabrielle Pickett of Forest, and Tyla Harrison of Union; and (back row, from left) Trey Kellum of Newton, Lexi Grantham of Mize, Victoria Adams of Decatur, Tanisha McMullan of Decatur, Keri Bryan of Scooba, and Coy McMullan of Stratton. Not pictured is Keena Louis-Cole of Union. Kellum was also named Surgical Technology Student of the Year. LeAnn Shirley and Kristie Pilgrim serve as instructors.
