East Central Community College is excited to launch an all-new Marketing Management Technology program in August 2025, offering students hands-on training for careers in sales, advertising, digital marketing, public relations, and management.
East Central Community College hosted its annual Beauty Pageant on March 3, 2025, in Huff Auditorium, celebrating grace, confidence, and campus spirit. The event, which began at 6:30 p.m., was emceed by ECCC Choral Activities Director, Chandler Smith.
East Central Community College inducted 52 students into the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society on Tuesday, February 25, in Huff Auditorium. Phi Theta Kappa is the international honor society of two-year colleges, recognizing students for their academic excellence and leadership potential. Membership is extended to students who have completed at least 12 credit hours applicable to an associate degree and have achieved a minimum grade-point average of 3.5.
East Central Community College faculty member Madison Price and student Katie Morrow will be recognized as the college’s 2025 William Winter Scholars at the 36th annual Natchez Literary and Cinema Celebration. The event, hosted by Copiah-Lincoln Community College, will take place March 27-29 at the Natchez Convention Center.
Bradley Robbins, an English instructor at East Central Community College, has been selected as the college’s Humanities Teacher of the Year and will deliver a special presentation on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at 2 p.m. in Thrash Auditorium. The event is free to the public, and all are invited to attend. Robbins’ presentation, titled “Modern Mythology in Professional Wrestling,” will explore the ways professional wrestling serves as a contemporary form of mythology, shaping cultural narratives much like ancient legends.
