Pricing for exams:

First Test: Math and English $20.00
First Test: Math OR English $10.00
Second Attempt: Math and English $10.00
Second Attempt: Math OR English $5.00

All fees must be paid prior to testing. Credit or Debit cards are accepted on-site.
All cash payments must be made in the Business Office with a receipt shown upon arrival to test.

Accuplacer examination procedures:

Students are urged to carefully read and
follow the instructions below:

  1. All Accuplacer examinations must be scheduled online at least one business day in advance. During peak times (August/January), it is recommended that students make appointments at least one week in advance to secure the date and testing time desired. It is the responsibility of the student to be aware of the exam dates, times, and locations to make proper arrangements.
  2. Students should arrive at least 15 minutes in advance of their scheduled testing time to allow for check-in.
  3. Students must present a valid photo I. D. Students who fail to produce the required identification will not be allowed to take their exam.
  4. Acceptable forms of Identification include a valid driver’s license or permit, current school I.D., passport, or Tribal identification card. Photos of identification are not accepted unless it is through the Mississippi Driver’s License app.
  5. Students who arrive more than 15 minutes late for their appointment may be asked to reschedule their examination appointment.
  6. No examinations will be administered within one hour of closing.
  7. Students are allowed two attempts per test; however, the second attempt must be scheduled at least a week after the first attempt.
  8. The proctor will assign seating.
  9. Students are not allowed to have any electronic communication devices (cell phones, smart watches, laptops, tablets, etc.) at the computer while taking an exam. Any violation will be considered a breach of academic integrity.
  10. Students are prohibited from utilizing external sources during proctored examinations. External sources include accessing additional Internet windows and/or applications. Students who are caught accessing external sources will be dismissed and their test invalidated.
  11. Students are prohibited from referring to books, notes, or other materials while taking an exam. Personal belongings such as briefcases, purses, and bags are not permitted in the exam room.
  12. Students are prohibited from talking, giving assistance or receiving assistance while taking an exam. The exam(s) for a student, or students, caught exchanging information will be dismissed and their test invalidated.
  13. Students may be dismissed from the testing center for inappropriate behavior (evidence of cheating, disrespecting proctor(s) or violation of any testing center rules).
  14. All materials, including any scratch paper obtained from the proctor and used during the taking of the exam, must be returned to the proctor upon completion of the exam.
  15. Children under the age of 18 are not permitted at the testing site nor may they wait in the lobby. Students who bring children to the exam site will not be permitted to test.
  16. No food or drink allowed in the testing center.
