East Central Community College in Decatur has announced audition information for students interested in being a member of the college’s Concert Choir and Vocé vocal ensemble for the 2022-23 school year.
Auditions for Concert Choir will be held from 10 a.m. to Noon on Friday, April 8, Thursday, April 14, and Friday, April 22, in the Vickers Fine Arts Center on campus. There will also be audition days the week before school starts in August, as well as the first two days of Fall 2022 classes (August 15-16).
Vocé auditions will be held on Monday, August 15, the first day of Fall 2022 classes. Times will be announced. In order to be considered for Vocé, students must audition and make choir first.
The ECCC Concert Choir is made up of music majors and non-music majors. The choir is an audition-only choir and consists of around 80 members. Vocé is the college’s vocal ensemble.
