The East Central Community College Tennis Programs raised more than $300 for hurricane flood victims with a Woods & Whites fundraiser Friday, Sept. 15, at the ECCC Tennis Complex in Decatur. ECCC Head Tennis Coach Jay Pacelli said the money will be given to the Houston Food Bank to support Hurricane Harvey victims. Woods & Whites is a doubles event played like Wimbledon in the days of old, including wood racquets and white clothing and tennis balls. The event was won by Sam Mizzi of Berwick, Australia, and Alexis Tindall of Newton, both members of the East Central tennis team. (EC Photo)
