Fall 2020, Summer 2020 Term Registration Information

Fall 2020 Term Registration to Open
All currently enrolled East Central Community College (ECCC) students returning for Fall 2020, with the exception of dual credit students who are not on schedule to graduate from high school this spring, can begin registering for Fall 2020 Term courses at 8 a.m. on Friday, April 3, 2020.

Even if currently enrolled students have a hold(s) placed on their account in the Business Office or they have not met with their advisor, they will still be allowed to register for their Fall 2020 Term courses. If students would like a virtual advising session with their advisor, they should contact him/her by email and request one.

Registration for the Fall 2020 Term occurs online in myEC under the Student tab. The information and resources students need to register for their courses are located under the Student tab in myEC. If students experience issues accessing myEC using their secure log-in, they should contact ithelpdesk@eccc.edu. If students are logged into myEC and experience issues registering for classes, they should contact registration@eccc.edu

In addition, a listing of Fall 2020 Term courses is located online on myEC and at www.eccc.edu/coronavirus.

Students may utilize the drive-up Wi-Fi hot spots in designated parking lots on the ECCC campus in Decatur to register for classes. More information on Sources of Internet Accessibility is available online at www.eccc.edu/sources-internet-accessibility.

Summer 2020 Term Registration is Open
Online registration for the Summer 2020 Term remains open. If students would like to take classes this summer, they can register for those now as well. The listing of courses being offered this summer is located online on myEC and also at www.eccc.edu/coronavirus. Students are not required to meet with their advisor prior to registering for Summer 2020 Term classes.

Please note that developments regarding COVID-19 may impact the final schedule and/or delivery method of Summer 2020 Term classes. If any changes are made to the summer schedule in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, they will be communicated to students as soon as they are made.

Summer Financial Aid
Students may be eligible for financial aid to cover their summer charges if they are taking classes at ECCC this summer. Students who have already received a Pell Grant during both fall and spring semesters may have additional Pell eligibility for the summer semester using the current 2019-20 FAFSA. Generally, a student must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 hours for Student Loans and Year-Round Pell. To determine their eligibility, students should print and email a copy of their Summer 2020 class schedule to the Financial Aid Office at kmott@eccc.edu as soon as possible.
