Patrick Lovette of Collinsville recently joined the staff at East Central Community College in Decatur as the institution’s Director of Admissions and Records.
In his new role, Lovette will supervise all areas of admissions and records including student registration, student grades, transcripts, class and examination schedules, attendance records, FERPA compliance, enrollment reports and audits, and inter-collegiate athlete eligibility.
“I'm excited to get started here at ECCC,” he said. “I love the friendly and welcoming atmosphere that makes this place feel like home. I am looking most forward to getting to work with incoming students and helping them get started on their college experience.”
Lovette has previously served as Director of Recruiting/Campus Life at Meridian Community College, Admissions Counselor at University of West Alabama, and College and Career Readiness Teacher at Northeast Lauderdale High School.
He earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of West Alabama, a master’s from the University of Southern Mississippi and the educational specialist from Northwest Missouri State.
He and his wife, Jodi, have two children, Peyton and Mckenzie.
