Co-Lin Defeats Football Warriors 26-14 on Homecoming

The East Central Community College Warriors and the Copiah-Lincoln Community College Wolves matched up in Decatur for the Warriors' final home game of the 2022 season on Thursday night. The Wolves defeated the Warriors, 26-14. With the loss, the Warriors fell to 0-8, 0-5 on the year while Co-Lin improved to 4-4, 2-3 on the season.

Warrior of the Week: Avery Anders

Avery Anders had a stellar outing against Meridian last week as he poured in two goals in the Warriors' 3-2 victory over the Eagles.
Both of Anders' goals came on free kicks that he made from well outside of the box and propelled ECCC to the win.
ECCC Football Falls at Gulf Coast 35-0

The Warriors of East Central Community College traveled to Perkinston on Saturday, Oct. 15, to face the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College Bulldogs for MGCCC's homecoming. The Bulldogs got the win, 35-0, which dropped the Warriors to 0-7, 0-4. Gulf Coast improved to 4-3, 3-1.

Warrior Golfers Tie for Fifth in Meridian

The East Central Community College Warrior golf team posted another top-five finish last week as the team tied for fifth in the third MACCC event of the year Oct. 10-11. The tournament, hosted by Meridian Community College and played at Briarwood Country Club, featured an 11-team field.
ECCC Head Football Coach Ken Karcher Announces Retirement

The second longest-tenured football coach in East Central Community College history has announced his retirement effective at the conclusion of the current 2022 season.
Warrior Football Falls in Cross-Divisional Matchup at Northeast

The Warriors of East Central Community College fell to the Northeast Tigers, 34-20, on Thursday, Oct. 6, in a cross-divisional matchup in Booneville. With the loss, the Warriors moved to 0-6, 0-3 on the year, while the Tigers improved to 3-3, 1-2.
ECCC Tennis Schedules Annual Woods and Whites Event
The East Central Community College tennis program is hosting its annual Woods & Whites Doubles Tournament on Saturday, Oct. 29, at the Tennis Complex on the ECCC campus in Decatur.
The Woods & Whites event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The cost is $40 per player, payable at the event. All proceeds support the ECCC men's and women's tennis programs and facilities.
