The East Central Community College basketball teams concluded their 2017-18 seasons Thursday, Feb. 22, in action at Hinds Community College in Utica. The Lady Warriors fell 71-53 in the opening game to the Hinds Lady Bulldogs, while the Warriors dropped an 87-79 decision to the Bulldogs in the nightcap.

The East Central Community College tennis teams dropped a pair of road matches to MACJC foe Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Wesson on Tuesday, Feb. 20.
The ECCC women lost a 7-2 match to Co-Lin to fall to 1-1 on the season. The East Central men are now 0-2 after losing a 6-3 match to the Wolves.

The East Central Community College Baseball Warriors continued their hot play to start the 2018 season with a road doubleheader sweep of Bevill State Community College Tuesday, Feb. 20, in Fayette, Ala.
East Central took the opening game 10-4 then came from behind to win the nightcap 5-2. The teams played two seven-inning games due to no lights on the Bevill State field.
The Warriors are now 4-0 on the young season.

The East Central Community College women’s tennis team opened its 2018 spring season with an impressive 8-1 win over visiting Snead State Community College (Boaz, Ala.) Saturday, Feb. 17, at the Tennis Complex in Decatur.
“It was a strong start for our women’s team,” said ECCC head coach Jay Pacelli. “We persevered in a couple of tight doubles matches and are now looking forward to facing Co-Lin next week.”
