It’s not too late to register for classes at East Central Community College in Decatur for the Spring 2018 Intensive Term II on-campus and online courses.

The last day to register for on-campus courses in the Spring 2018 Intensive Term II is Thursday, March 1. Classes begin on Wednesday, Feb. 28, and end May 3.

Classes offered include Introduction to Cost Estimating, Intermediate English, English Composition I, English Composition II, College Algebra and Calculus II.

The East Central Community College Warriors took Southwest Mississippi into overtime in an attempt to put an end to a five-game losing streak but came up short in a heartbreaking 92-88 loss to the Bears Thursday, Feb. 1. The ECCC Lady Warriors fell 70-55 to the Southwest Lady Bears in the first game of the night.

Both games were played at the basketball center on the Southwest campus in Summit.

Former Northwest Mississippi Community College and Ole Miss basketball standout and current Holmes Community College women’s assistant coach LaTaryl Williams is the new head women’s basketball coach at East Central Community College in Decatur.

The East Central Community College men’s and women’s basketball teams continued to struggle in the new year, dropping a pair of MACJC South Division contests to visiting Hinds Community College on Monday evening, Jan. 29.

The Hinds Lady Bulldogs took a hard-earned 73-68 win over the East Central Lady Warriors in the first game of the night in Brackeen-Wood Gym in Decatur.

The East Central Community College Workforce Development Center will offer a Pharmacy Tech course beginning Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018, on the Decatur campus.

Jan. 25, 2018

The East Central Community College Workforce Development Center is offering various courses at the Philadelphia/Neshoba County Career-Technical Center located at 900 Valley View Drive beginning Monday, Feb. 19.

Basic Automotive Repair: Meets from 6 to 9 p.m. every Monday for eight consecutive weeks. Cost is $150 and Kirt Doss will serve as instructor.

The East Central Community College Workforce Development Center will offer a Certified Nurse Aide course beginning Monday, Feb. 12, 2018, on the Decatur campus.
