No. 5 ECCC Baseball Drops 4 Spring Break Games
The East Central Community College Warriors moved up to No. 5 in the most recent NJCAA Division II Baseball Top 20 Poll before dropping four straight games over two days during Spring Break play at Clark-Gay Baseball Complex in Decatur.

The East Central Community College Warrior golf team finished in eighth place in the Carey Collegiate Classic during Spring Break.
The tournament, hosted by William Carey University was held March 12-13 at Canebrake Country Club in Hattiesburg. East Central shot 624 as a team.

The East Central Community College Lady Warriors came up on the short end of a doubleheader matching two nationally ranked softball teams as Itawamba Community College took the sweep Friday, March 9, on the ICC campus in Fulton.
The No. 11 ICC Lady Indians took the opener 6-3 and came back to take game two 4-0.
With the losses, No. 8 East Central’s record fell to 14-6 overall on the season and 3-5 in MACJC action. Itawamba is now 17-3 overall and 8-0 in the league.

The East Central Community College Lady Warriors picked up their second tennis win of the spring over visiting Itawamba Friday, March 9, with a 6-3 victory, while the Warriors fell to the visiting No. 20 ICC Indians 6-3.
The MACJC matches were played at the Tennis Complex on the ECCC campus in Decatur.
The East Central Lady Warriors improved to 4-3 on the season, while the Warriors are now 0-7.

The East Central Community College men’s tennis match came down to the last courts of the day to decide the outcome before the No. 17 ranked Copiah-Lincoln Community College Wolves pulled out a 5-4 win Thursday, March 8, at the Tennis Complex on the campus in Decatur. The No. 24 ranked Co-Lin Lady Wolves earned a 6-3 win over the ECCC Lady Warriors.
The East Central men are now 0-6 on the season, while the Lady Warriors are 3-3.

The East Central Community College Workforce Development Center will offer a course in Home Maintenance and Repair beginning Monday, March 19, 2018, at the Philadelphia/Neshoba County Career-Technical Center located at 900 Valley View Drive.
Classes will meet from 6 to 9 p.m. for eight consecutive Monday nights. Cost is $100 per person and James Boykin will serve as instructor.
