The Brown Bottling team won the Championship Flight and a record was set in money raised at the 17th Annual East Central Community College Warrior Golf Classic held May 11 at the Dancing Rabbit Golf Club, located on the Pearl River Resort in Choctaw.
ECCC Offering Elite Football Camp for Grades 8-12 June 6

The East Central Community College football program is hosting its 2018 Elite Warrior Football Camp on Wednesday, June 6, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Bailey Stadium on the campus in Decatur.
The non-contact camp is for high school players entering grades 8 through 12 in fall 2018. The cost is $50 per person and includes lunch and a camp T-shirt.
ECCC to Hold Warrior Wednesday New Student Orientation Session June 6

Registering for fall 2018 classes is among the activities new and transfer students will participate in when East Central Community College holds its Warrior Wednesday Orientation session June 6 on the Decatur campus.
The Warrior Wednesday Orientation will be from 9 a.m. to Noon beginning in the Vickers Fine Arts Center. New students can begin signing in for the session at 8:30 a.m.
ECCC Board of Trustees Approves College’s 2018-19 Budget Plan

The East Central Community College Board of Trustees last week approved the college’s 2018-19 budget plan, which includes a 3 percent per semester tuition increase for full-time students for the upcoming academic year. The 2018-19 budget plan approved at the board’s May meeting on the Decatur campus goes into effect on July 1, 2018.

The East Central Community College softball team survived its first elimination game Friday but could not survive the second as the Lady Warriors’ 2018 season came to an end in the National Junior College Athletic Association Region 23 Tournament played May 10-12 on the campus of Itawamba Community College in Fulton.
