What is The Warrior CLOSET?
The Warrior CLOSET (Caring & Loving Others, Supporting Everyone Together) is a clothing closet inspired by Warrior Path to Success Instructors. The goal of the “closet” is to provide students with attire for mock interviews, job interviews, state and national competitions, and school-related professional events.
The Warrior CLOSET provides free professional and business casual attire to currently enrolled students with completion of the application form. The Warrior CLOSET is located in Room 201 of the Rives Education Building on the Decatur campus.
Who Can Receive?
The Warrior CLOSET is a free resource to any currently enrolled on-campus or online student at East Central Community College.
How Do I Apply?
Complete and submit the online Warrior CLOSET Application form. Once your application is reviewed, you will be contacted through your ECCC email. Then you can set up an appointment to shop at the closet.
Who Can Donate?
We are currently accepting clothing donations. Items can be brought to the closet during our normal business hours (Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Friday, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.)

While the closet relies primarily on donations, financial support enables the college to purchase items that are in greatest demand and to fill any existing gaps in the closet inventory to ensure students have the best experience in developing their professional wardrobes.
How It Works?
Visit the closet to browse our collection of gently-used and new items by scheduling an appointment. Students will need to complete the application form in order to set up the appointment. During appointments, students can expect to try on items in a safe, clean, and private space. Students are able to select 3 items from the closet that fit their needs--at no cost!
Students can select from a wide range of items such as:
- Full suits (jacket and pants and/or skirt)
- Contemporary suit jackets or blazers
- Shirts/blouses appropriate to wear under a suit coat/blazer
- Dress slacks and pants
- Skirts
- Ties
- Assorted shoes
The Warrior CLOSET cannot guarantee the availability of all sizes and types of items.
