The East Central Community College Lady Warriors continue to win as the team shut out the Mississippi Gulf Coast Lady Bulldogs, 2-0, on Sunday afternoon, April 18. The win moves ECCC to 5-0-1 on the season and puts the Lady Warriors at the top of the MACCC standings.

The East Central Community College Lady Warriors picked up two big MACCC wins to bookend the weekend with an 8-0 win over Southwest on Friday, April 9, and a 3-1 victory over Northwest on Monday, April 12. The wins moved the Lady Warriors to 3-0-1 on the year and put ECCC in a strong position in the early goings of the 2021 season.

The East Central Community College Lady Warriors' 2021 home opener April 6 ended in a 1-1 draw with the Pearl River Community College Lady Wildcats.
The tie moves the Lady Warriors to 1-0-1 on the young season.

The Lady Warriors soccer team of East Central Community College posted a winning season of 9-7-1 all the way back in the fall of 2019, the last time this squad has seen the field. The team is now ready to be back in action after the 17-month long hiatus due to COVID-19.

The 2019-20 East Central Community College women’s soccer team has been recognized with the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award after compiling a team grade-point average of 3.48 last year.
The United Soccer Coaches annually honors college soccer teams that achieve a team GPA of 3.0 or higher.
The organization is the world’s largest soccer coaches’ organization that serves members at every level of the game.

Registration is underway for East Central Community College’s high school girls soccer camp to be held May 31 and June 1-2 on ECCC campus in Decatur.
The cost is $250 per camper for those staying overnight in a college residence hall and $200 for non-overnight campers.
