All area high school students are invited to East Central Community College’s annual “Be Our Guest” football game Thursday, Sept. 29. It will also be “Black Out Bailey” as the Warriors host MACCC South Division rival Southwest Bears.

Men's Home Soccer Match with Andrew College Cancelled

East Central's men's soccer home match against Andrew College, originally slated for Saturday, Sept. 3 at 4 p.m., has been cancelled. At this time, there is no makeup date scheduled.
The Warriors will be back in action on Friday, Sept. 9 as the team travels to William Carey to take on the Crusaders at 4 p.m., before traveling to Holmes the following Friday, Sept. 16 with a 3 p.m. kickoff.
ECCC Student Myla Sanders Receives Trustmark Workforce Development Scholarship

East Central Community College student Myla Sanders of Lake has received the Trustmark Workforce Development Scholarship, a $200 scholarship awarded to 25 members of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society in states throughout Trustmark’s marketplace who plan to enter the workforce upon the completion of an associate degree or certification.

Warrior Soccer Falls to Itawamba in Rainy Home Opener

The East Central Community College Warrior soccer team fell to the Itawamba Indians, 7-0, on Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 23, in a rainy non-conference matchup. The loss drops the Warriors to 0-1 on the year, while the Indians improve to 1-0.

The East Central Community College Lady Warriors moved to 1-0 on the 2022 season on Monday, Aug. 22, with a 4-0 victory over the Southwest Mississippi Community College Lady Bears (0-1).
ECCC’s Meet the Warriors Pep Rally is August 29

East Central Community College will start the fall sports seasons with the annual “Meet the Warriors” preseason pep rally scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 29.
The event will be emceed by DJ Aaron Tullos and music will be played before, during, and after the event for students and the community to enjoy. Along with remarks from East Central's Director of Athletics Paul Nixon, DJ Aaron will introduce the 2022 East Central cheerleading, men's and women's soccer, and football teams.
