ECCC to Host Student Art Exhibit April 3-20

East Central Community College will host its annual Student Art Exhibition April 3-20 in the Vickers Fine Arts Center on the Decatur campus. An opening reception will be held from 1:30 to 3 p.m. on Thursday, April 6.
The exhibit will feature drawings, paintings, sculptures, and designs produced by EC students during the 2022-23 school year. The show will be juried, and the winners will be posted in Vickers Lobby with ribbons attached to the works.

The East Central Community College Encore Players will present "Beauty and the Beast" at 7 p.m. Thursday through Friday, March 30 - April 1, and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 2.

Boyd Named Coca-Cola Academic Team Bronze Scholar

Anslee Boyd, an East Central Community College sophomore from Morton, has been named a 2023 Coca-Cola Academic Team Bronze Scholar and will receive a $1,000 scholarship.

Brian White Named Humanities Teacher of the Year

Brian White, an American History instructor at East Central Community College, was selected as the college’s Humanities Teacher of the Year and will present a special program on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at 3 p.m. in Huff Auditorium. The program is free to attend, and the public is invited.
