The NJCAA has announced the 2020-21 All-Academic Teams, recognizing student-athletes across the country for their dedication in the classroom. A total of 8,272 student-athletes have been honored for achieving a GPA above 3.60.

The East Central Community College athletic department is excited to announce 73 student-athletes have been honored by the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) for their academic performances in the 2020-21 school year.
ECCC's Chris Lawrance Named ITA All-American

East Central Community College's Chris Lawrance (York, Australia) has been named as an Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-American among community college players from across the country. The prestigious honor is only given to student-athletes who finish in the top 10 of the final ITA singles rankings.
ECCC Announces 2021 Football Schedule

The 2021 football season is just 12 weeks away and the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference is slated for a full nine-game season. The East Central Warriors, who had to cut the 2020 season short due to COVID-19, finished the year 2-3 overall and closed out the year with a 13-10 overtime victory over Co-Lin in Wesson.
