The East Central Community College softball team will begin Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges State Tournament play at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 8, against the Northeast Lady Tigers at Community Bank Park/Gwen Magee Field on the campus of Jones College in Ellisville.
The No. 12 ranked Lady Warriors will be the No. 4 seed and face No. 5 seed Northeast. East Central swept a doubleheader over Northeast 13-0 and 7-4 in Booneville on April 17.

East Central Community College will host its Kids’ College program June 17-21 and June 24-28 on the Decatur campus.
The annual event, which features numerous courses and combines fun and learning for ages 5-12, costs $50 per class and includes a Kids’ College T-shirt for each participant.

Registration is underway for East Central Community College’s high school residential boys and girls soccer camps to be held in June on the ECCC campus in Decatur.
The Summer High School Residential Girls Soccer Camp will be held June 2-4, 2019. The cost is $225 per camper.

East Central Community College faced its second straight nationally ranked opponent on the road when the Warriors dropped a baseball doubleheader at No. 17 Meridian Tuesday, April 30.
The Meridian Eagles won the opener 11-1 and then game two 4-1 for the MACJC sweep.
The Warriors are now 20-21 overall on the season and 13-13 in the league. East Central is in a three-way tie for seventh place with the top nine teams earning postseason berths. Meridian improves to 27-13 overall and 16-10 in the conference.
