The East Central Community College Small Business Development Center will offer a free seminar on “How to Develop a Business Plan” Monday, Sept. 17, 2018, in the college’s Workforce Development Center located at 52 9th Street in Decatur.

The East Central Community College Workforce Development Center will offer several classes at the Philadelphia/Neshoba County Career-Technical Center beginning in September. The center is located at 900 Valley View Drive in Philadelphia.

Sewing and Embroidery will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Mondays beginning Sept. 10 for eight consecutive weeks. The cost is $150 per person and Jill Powe will serve as instructor.

For the second time in five days, the road was not kind to the East Central Community College men’s and women’s soccer teams as they both lost matches at Pearl River Community College on Tuesday, Aug. 28, in Poplarville.

In the opener, the Pearl River Lady Wildcats made a first half goal stand up in a 1-0 shutout of the ECCC Lady Warriors

Director Chas Evans recently announced members of the 2018-19 Collegians rock-and-roll band at East Central Community College following auditions held on the Decatur campus.

Vocalists include Jake Horton and Bryce Callie Lott, both of Sebastopol; Logan Steptoe, Scott Central; Landon Weeks, Nanih Waiya; Jaiden Moore, Neshoba Central; and Katie Evans, Newton County.
