Peyton Ryals of Louisville and Jessica Everett of Decatur were selected Mr. and Miss East Central Community College for the 2017-18 school year by a recent vote of the student body.

The East Central Community College Workforce Development Center will offer courses in Basic Computer  & Microsoft Office 2010 and Certified Nurse Aide at the Louisville Career Advancement Center located at 860 South Church Street.

The East Central Community College Workforce Development Center will offer a course in Home Maintenance and Repair beginning Monday, March 19, 2018, at the Philadelphia/Neshoba County Career-Technical Center located at 900 Valley View Drive.

Classes will meet from 6 to 9 p.m. for eight consecutive Monday nights. Cost is $100 per person and James Boykin will serve as instructor.

The East Central Community College Division of Fine Arts will present numerous performing arts events during the month of April on the Decatur campus. There is no charge for admission and the public is invited to attend the following events:

April 4 – Delta State University Wind Ensemble, 4 p.m., Vickers Fine Arts Center Auditorium

April 9 – Collegians Spring Concert, 7 p.m., Huff Auditorium
