The East Central Community College Warrior soccer team fell to the Itawamba Indians, 7-0, on Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 23, in a rainy non-conference matchup. The loss drops the Warriors to 0-1 on the year, while the Indians improve to 1-0.

The East Central Community College Lady Warriors moved to 1-0 on the 2022 season on Monday, Aug. 22, with a 4-0 victory over the Southwest Mississippi Community College Lady Bears (0-1).

East Central Community College will start the fall sports seasons with the annual “Meet the Warriors” preseason pep rally scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 29.

The event will be emceed by DJ Aaron Tullos and music will be played before, during, and after the event for students and the community to enjoy. Along with remarks from East Central's Director of Athletics Paul Nixon, DJ Aaron will introduce the 2022 East Central cheerleading, men's and women's soccer, and football teams.

Fall Full Term On-Campus and Online day and evening classes at East Central Community College in Decatur are underway, but there are still plenty of opportunities to enroll in classes this fall. 

Registration continues for the college’s Fall Intensive Term II On-Campus, Fall Intensive Term II Online, and Fall 4-Week Online classes. 

Fall Intensive Term II On-Campus Classes begin on Wednesday, Oct. 5. The last day to register is Thursday, Oct. 6. Final exams are Dec. 5-8.
