The ECCC men's tennis team fell to Meridian, 5-0, in the first round of the NJCAA Region 23 tennis tournament held in Ellisville on the campus of Jones College April 21. The result ends the 2022 season for the Warriors barring a bid to the NJCAA National Tournament.

Art, baking, cheer, and theater are among the activities kids can learn at East Central Community College’s annual Kids’ College set for June 13-17 on the campus in Decatur.

Kids’ College provides several daily activities for those ages 6 through 12.

Online only registration opens Monday, April 25, with a registration deadline of Friday, May 20. Registration can be completed at www.eccc.edu/continuing-education.

Registration is open for students interested in attending East Central Community College’s accelerated three-week May Semester or one of four online and on-campus Summer terms.

The deadline to register for the accelerated May term is Tuesday, May 10. Classes begin on May 9 and end on Friday, May 27.

East Central is offering four different summer terms, including classes on the campus in Decatur and online classes.

East Central Community College in Decatur has named Tiffany Elkins as director of bands beginning with the 2022-23 school year.

Elkins has been serving as temporary band director and music instructor at ECCC during the current spring 2022 semester. She will officially begin her new duties on July 1.
