East Central Community College in Decatur will return to normal operations beginning with the Fall 2021 Semester, including the return to a full schedule of traditional in-person classes, open facilities, enhanced student engagement opportunities, and full capacity at on-campus events.
The return to normal operations also applies to the college’s centers in Philadelphia, Choctaw, Louisville, Forest, and Carthage.

East Central Community College in Decatur has been named a 2021 “Best for Vets” college by Military Times.
ECCC is one of only three community colleges in Mississippi to be included in the annual rankings, and one of only six two-year or four-year institutions in the state to be honored for support to veterans.

East Central Community College's Chris Lawrance (York, Australia) has been named as an Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-American among community college players from across the country. The prestigious honor is only given to student-athletes who finish in the top 10 of the final ITA singles rankings.
