The East Central Community College men's tennis team had a back-and-forth week as they fell to Mississippi Gulf Coast before blanking Holmes the following day. The results move the Warriors to 2-3 on the season.

East Central Community College will hold its annual Black History Month program Wednesday, March 10, 2021, during a virtual presentation on Facebook Live. Activities begin at 6:30 p.m. and can be viewed at facebook.com/ecgospelchoir. The special program was earlier scheduled for Feb. 24, but was rescheduled due to last week's inclement weather.
Marcus Mann, a Carthage pastor and ECCC alumnus, will serve as guest speaker.

The East Central Community College Lady Warriors dropped to 1-3 on the year on Tuesday as they fell Mississippi Gulf Coast, 9-0. The win improves the Lady Bulldogs to 5-0 on the season.

It was a busy night for the scorekeepers on Tuesday as the East Central Warriors and Mississippi Gulf Coast Bulldogs squared off in Perkinston. The games were split between the squads, but only after an onslaught of runs. The split moves East Central to 2-4 on the season and the Bulldogs to 1-3.

The East Central Community College Warriors have scheduled open football tryouts for the 2021 season for Tuesday, Feb. 23, at 11 a.m. The tryouts will be held on Warrior Field at Bailey Stadium in Decatur on the ECCC campus.

he East Central Community College Warriors dropped to 0-4 on the year on Thursday night as the Meridian Eagles (2-2) picked up an 80-67 win in Brackeen-Wood Gymnasium.
"We have to start off on a better foot, and that starts with our practice habits," said ECCC head men's basketball coach Rahim Lockhart. "Our guys have to learn to bring that energy, and that effort is inexcusable, but with some work we can be much better."
