The East Central Community College Warrior basketball team returned to campus from winter break ready to play in 2022 as the Warriors defeated the Hinds Bulldogs 104-74 to open the new year Monday, Jan. 10.

The East Central Community College basketball programs are back from winter break and ready to hit the hardwood for the second portion of the 2021-22 season. The women's team enters the new year with a 4-5, 0-2 record, while the men are 3-5, 1-1. Both squads will be in MACCC play for the remainder of the season.
ECCC Accepting Applications for In-District Gap-Filler Scholarship

East Central Community College in Decatur is now accepting applications for the Slagle In-District Tuition Scholarship. This “gap filler” scholarship awards several thousand dollars annually to ECCC students who do not receive and/or qualify for sources of funding sufficient to cover the cost of tuition.
Williams Named NJCAA All-American

East Central Community College has landed its 10th-ever NJCAA First Team All-American selection in Desmond Williams (Forsyth, Ga.) after a memorable year on the gridiron. Williams joins just four fellow MACCC players to earn the First Team nod in 2021.
