No. 12 Hinds Tops ECCC Football to Close Out South Division Play

The No. 12 Hinds Eagles took down the Warriors on Thursday night, Oct. 21, to close out division play for ECCC in 2021. The 52-14 loss dropped the Warriors to 2-6 on the year and to 2-4 in the South Division. Hinds improved to 6-2, 4-1 going into the final week of regular-season play.
ECCC Student One of 13 in State to Receive Mississippi Nurses Foundation Stipend

East Central Community College student Hanna Wilcher of Carthage was one of 13 nursing students in the state to be awarded a 2021-22 Mississippi Nurses Foundation Stipend Award.
Wilcher, a graduate of Leake Central High School, is a sophomore in ECCC’s Associate Degree Nursing program.

Warrior Soccer Loses Division Match to ICC

The Warriors and Indians went toe-to-toe in Decatur on Friday afternoon, Oct. 15, but ICC hung on to grab a 2-0 win over the Warriors. With the loss, the Warriors fall to 2-10-1 overall on the year and to 1-4 in North Division play. ICC improves to 8-4 overall and to 5-1 in the division.

The East Central Community College Lady Warriors dropped a tough North Division home match to Itawamba on Friday afternoon, Oct. 15. The loss drops the Lady Warriors to 8-4 on the year and to 2-4 in division play. ICC improves to 4-7, 3-3 on the year.
