The East Central Community College Warriors silenced the big bats of No. 7 Pearl River Community College as they picked up two wins to sweep the Wildcats Wednesday, March 3. The wins move the Warriors to 7-5 on the year and to 4-0 in MACCC play. Pearl River falls to 10-4.

The Lady Warriors of East Central Community College dropped two games to the Pearl River Lady Wildcats on Wednesday night, March 3. The losses move ECCC to 3-9 on the season and to 2-2 in MACCC play. Pearl River improves to 11-3, 4-0.

A PRCC triple in the bottom of the second put the Lady Wildcats on top, 1-0, before they added another three in the bottom of the third with an RBI single and RBI double. The start put PRCC on top, 4-0.

The Lady Warriors of East Central Community College were neck and neck with the No. 2 Jones College Lady Bobcats on Monday, March 1, at the half, but ultimately fell, 70-49. The loss moves ECCC to 1-4 on the year and improves Jones to 9-0.
Scoring was sparse in the early minutes as the game was tied at 6-6 with just 2:27 remaining in the first quarter. Eventually, the teams would get their feet under them and after one, Jones led by one, 14-13.

The Lady Warriors of East Central Community College had hot bats to open MACCC play as they posted 17 runs on 25 hits in a sweep over East Mississippi Community College Saturday, Feb. 27. The wins move the Lady Warriors to 3-7 overall, but more importantly, to 2-0 in MACCC play. East Miss drops to 0-8 on the season.

It was a dominating day for the Warriors as ECCC defeated Southwest 8-1 on Feb. 26 in McComb. The win marks the fourth straight win for the Warriors.
"It was a solid road victory in some windy conditions and our guys played through hit," said ECCC head coach Jay Pacelli. "The Bears pushed us in several matches, but we remained up to the challenge."

The East Central Community College Lady Warriors blanked the Southwest Lady Bears, 9-0, Friday, Feb. 26, in McComb in a nice bounce-back win after falling to Co-Lin earlier in the week.
"Our ladies really came out and took care of business, and it felt good to get this bounce-back win," said ECCC head coach Jay Pacelli. "We had several strong matches with players like Anna Moore gutting out a tough one."
