East Central Community College will host Come See EC! Preview Day on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, giving high school seniors and prospective students an opportunity to experience campus life and explore academic programs.
East Central Community College (ECCC) has reached a historic milestone, enrolling a record 3,016 students for the Fall 2025 semester. This marks only the second time in the college’s history that enrollment has surpassed 3,000 students — the first since 2011 — and it represents the highest student headcount ever recorded at ECCC.
Director of Career and Technical Education, Cody Spence, has been honored with the Instant Impact Award by AccelerateMS in recognition of his outstanding contributions to strengthening Mississippi’s workforce.
ECCC now has a Mississippi Army National Guard recruiter housed on campus to serve as a resource and point of contact for students interested in exploring military opportunities.
